The Cayin M-845I is an Integrated Tube Amplifier. Chosen is for the 300B and the 845 tube in Single Ended Class A and delivers 2x 22 Watts per channel.
With the launch of Cayin's new M series, the M-845i integrated amplifier brings a new sleek design with fluid musicality. It is designed with American Multicap and Japanese Takman resistors, plus German WBT speaker connections.
In addition, it uses the audiophile 300B tube for music amplification. And as part of the M series, it integrates seamlessly with Cayin's top-of-the-line devices
FEATURES M-845I
Fully handmade construction with the finest point-to-point wiring.
Two EI output transformers with ultra-wide bandwidth are used.
Specially designed core transformer is implemented for power supply topology.
A hand-picked 6SN7 was used in the voltage control preamplifier stage.
Two 6SL7s have been used for voltage amplification, while two more manually adjusted 6SN7s have been used for the driver's ladder.
Two TJ Full Music 300B with porcelain base have been used for drive reinforcement.
The 845 vacuum tube is used for Single-end Class A amplification. One for each channel.
Shottable between different settings for negative feedback. It gives a wonderfully soft, clean, original sound when used on -3dB NFB. Otherwise, it produces a beautifully open, bold sound with great dynamics, but presented with a more fluid and organic taste when used at 0dB NFB.
Adjustment of the user bias and adjustment of the hum balance are accessible on top of the amplifier with a true ammeter.
Remote control is provided for all functions.
Can be used as a power amplifier.
The M-845i can remember the last operation of the device after it is turned off.
The output level is automatically dimmed for the balanced input.
Uses high-quality Alps volume control and German WBT high-quality speaker connections, USA.
Multicap capacitors and resistors of Japanese Takman Carbon Film Audio quality are used in the amplifier.
A heavily silver-plated signal cable was used everywhere.
