The Cayin CS-805A delivers no less than 50 watts per channel, single-ended design, pure class A integrated stereo amplifier with 805A output tubes. 50 Watt Tube power of course. This allows you to control almost any speaker, and that in class A!
Cayin has chosen the following tube setup; the 6SN7 in the preamplification, the oh so beautiful and beautifully sounding 300B as a driver ... that's fantastic and the 805A powertube as output tubes. There are three pairs of line inputs and a Pre-In can also be found on the back panel of the amplifier. With the Pre-In you can use this powerhouse as a power amplifier. Speaker connections for 4 and 8 ohm speakers are also located on the back panel of the amplifier.
By using a carefully sophisticated output transformer, the CS-805A also offers a Headphone Output that can control most headphones on the market. An option that is not often found on tube amplifiers.
Bias regulators for the 805A tubes are used for bias adjustment and there is a clearly readable meter on the top plate so that you can easily check the bias. The Cayin also has a Hum balancer for 300B tube and is accessible on the top plate for easy adjustment of the hum level of the tubes.
Negative feedback selection is available on the remote control and you can choose between two NFB levels to enjoy the different sound outputs of the CS-805A tube amplifier. Under the state of 0dB it has an open sound with more details, while in terms of the NFB at -3dB the CS-845A produces a soft, clean sound.
