The Cayin CS-150A is an integrated tube amplifier. With 4x a KT150 as the end tube, this amplifier is a powerhouse with no less than 2x 100 Watts of Tube Power. The CS-150A has an option on-board switch so you can switch between Ultralinear and listening in Triode mode.
This integrated amplifier underlines its exceptional quality standards with a six-layer hand-lacquered surface with impressive aesthetics and a deep shine. But it is precisely the technology that makes the CS-150A something special. Selected Tung-Sol 6SN7GTB tubes are used for the input and driver ladder. Four Tung-Sol KT150 or optionally four KT120 are used as high-quality end staill pipes. The voltage is aligned by an RCA 22DE4 NOS tube.
With three switches, the sound can be adjusted to your individual taste or to your speakers. This includes switching between triode and ultra linear operation. So you have the choice between delicate, detailed harmonies, smooth and holographic reproduction, ideal for voices and string instruments. Or you can increase performance and dynamics with controlled bass reproduction in ultra-linear operation. The output power is a tight sine of 2 x 55 watts in triode mode and goes up to a remarkable 2 x 100 watts in ultra-linear mode. This is an extreme output for a thoroughbred tube amplifier.
